PASP je vrsta biopolimernih materijala, čije molekule sadrže obilje amido veza, karboksilnih i drugih aktivnih skupina. Amido peptidna veza ima biološku aktivnost i visoku kemijsku stabilnost, teško se razgrađuje na visokoj temperaturi; karboksilna skupina može biti kompleksna s mnogo metalnih iona u vodi, koji čine PASP imaju visoku kemijsku aktivnost u vodenoj otopini; u svakoj strukturnoj jedinici PASP, atomi kisika i dušika mogu lako formirati vodikove veze s molekulama vode, ima dobru hidrofilnost i topljivost u vodi. I. Obrada vode

PASP has characteristic of polyanion surfactant, which can be chelated with magnesium, copper, iron, cobalt and other polyvalent metal ions after hydrolysis. It has excellent scale inhibition and dispersion properties. As scale and corrosion inhibitor, PASP is widely used in industrial circulating water, boiler water, reverse osmosis water, oil recycled water, desalination water treatment, especially for water treatment systems of high hardness, high alkalinity, high pH and high concentration.
