HEDP is an organic phosphonic acid scale and corrosion inhibitor, which can form stable complexes with iron, copper, zinc and other metal ions, and can dissolve the oxides on the metal surface. It can still play a good role in corrosion and scale inhibition at 250 ℃, it is still stable at high pH value, and is not easy to hydrolyze and decompose under general photothermal conditions. The resistance to acid, alkali and chlorine oxidation is better than other organic phosphonic acids (salts).
Edtmps is a kind of nitrogen-containing organic polyphosphate, which is a cathode corrosion inhibitor. Compared with inorganic polyphosphate, the inhibition rate of edtmps was increased by 3-5 times. It is miscible with water, non-toxic and pollution-free, with good chemical stability and temperature resistance. It still has good scale inhibition effect at 100 ℃. Edtmps can be decomposed into eight positive and negative ions in aqueous solution, chelating with various metal ions to form a macromolecular complex network with monomer structure, which is loose and dispersed in water and destroys the normal crystallization of calcium scale. It has good scale inhibition effect on calcium sulfate and barium sulfate.
Edtmpa has a strong ability to chelate metal ions, and its complexation constant with copper ion is larger than that of all chelating agents including EDTA. Edtmpa is a highly pure and nontoxic reagent. It can be used as a cleaning agent for semiconductor chips in electronic industry and used for manufacturing integrated circuits; in the pharmaceutical industry, as a carrier of radioactive elements, it is used for the examination and treatment of diseases; the chelating capacity of edtmpa is much higher than that of EDTA and DTPA, and almost all materials can be replaced by edtmpa, where EDTA is used as chelating agent.

PESA is a kind of "green" multi-element scale and corrosion inhibitor without phosphorus and nitrogen. PESA has good scale inhibition and dispersion performance for calcium carbonate, calcium sulfate, barium sulfate, calcium fluoride and silicon scale in water, and its scale inhibition effect is better than that of organic phosphorus scale inhibitor.
